The Lebrija Palace almost never sells out. The Royal Alcázar often does. If you are visiting both, book your Alcázar slot first and build the rest of the day around it.
The Alcázar is Seville's royal palace, still used by the Spanish royal family, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the Cathedral. Its Mudéjar rooms and gardens are the grandest in the city, and its crowds are the largest.
After the Alcázar, the Lebrija Palace feels like a different world: small, quiet, and Roman rather than Islamic. The walk between them is about 15 minutes through the centre.
Alcázar at opening, when it is calmest. Lunch near the Cathedral. Lebrija Palace in the afternoon (before 13:30 in July and August, when it closes at 15:00). Setas de Sevilla at sunset, three minutes away.

You are visiting Seville for the first time. You can commit to a time slot. You want the city's headline palace before the smaller private ones.
You hate crowds and have already seen the Alhambra: the private palaces (Lebrija, Pilatos, Dueñas) will give you more peace for the money.
